Afro Wedding Party

What it is about?
To be honest, the first time I heard about this event I was quite surprised.

Why would we need an « Afro » wedding? What are the specificities which make an « Afro » wedding so different compared to an « Euro» wedding?

The married couples all have to go to the registry office!!! Whether it is religious or not, the aim is to celebrate the union of 2 people regardless their origins. So, what are we talking about? The menu ? The decor ? The wedding outfit ?

Afro wedding is firstly an online magazine made by wedding professionals: event specialists, caterers, photographers, stylists, wedding planners, Dj, etc…It is born from an observation: the one that it is hard today to find service providers specialized in the Afro-Caribbean wedding.

The purpose is to gather specialized professionals through a qualitative service offer which fits to each couple needs. A wide offer which covers all the fields and styles and which « moves beyond ethnic clichés ».

The couples whether they are African, West Indian or mixed can also share their experiences and send pictures and videos. Many advice are also provided to help them to organize their wedding in complete tranquility.

For the launch of the first afro-Caribbean exhibition in France, I had the opportunity to be part of the cocktail party which took place on September the 12th.

A beautiful night organized around a wonderful show of models wearing designers’ dresses.

Just out of curiosity, I think it worth the visit. So, I invite you to join me on October the 12th and 13th to attend the first edition of the Afro Wedding exhibition which will take place in the 19th district of Paris.
