3 tips to face your bad hair days

There are days when our hair looks like nothing and we wonder why mother nature is against us. Even trying to put it on the right path, it always finds a way to take a deviation. Hard to feel good about yourself and to keep your spirits up! Then, rather than stay cloistered at home or put a bag on your head, here are 3 simple tips, which, I hope, will help you to overcome these moments (happily temporary).

1/ Do a deep haircare : If your hair renounces it means that its time to revitalize it and to reboost yourself. Our hair and our body in general, often reflect our state of mind. The stress and tensions of the week can sometimes be felt physically. I recommand here to do a cocooning session structured aroung 3 steps : shampoo/mask/care. (Here is my article about My hair routine). Cares are as good for the hair as it is for the skin. Then, feel free to do it as often as you need. To care for yourself and to pamper is a good way to feel beautiful and to regain self-confidence.

2/ Do a vitamines cure : In addition to the stress, our nutrition can also has consequences on our body and thus, the state of our skin and our hair. The A, B5, B8 and C vitamins, but also beta-carotene and potassium give flexibility and brilliance to the hair and stop hair loss while helping their growth and resistence. Here is a non exhaustive list of the food in which you can find this vitamins : butter, fruits, colourful vegetables (carrot, melon, cabbage, tomatoe, ), zinc, manganese, bread, cereals, pastas, rice, dry beans, peas, poultry, sea food, skimmed milk products. This food is also good for the body and for the weight.

3/ Choose « protective » hairstyles : braids, twists, locks, etcYou can also choose accessories that will not stress your hair : cap, hairband, headscarf according to the season. There is something for every styles!!!

      I know its hard to have the time to take care of our hair. I am sometimes lazy too. But I create the habit to deal with my hair every sunday. Its like a rendez-vous with myself! Try to save the date with yourself ;-)
